The Salmon Creek Journal: Digital Edition was created by a talented team of students in Fall 2022. They saw that the already established Salmon Creek Journal was only availible in print and wanted to give the publication a way to display digital work like animation. Over the course of a semester, they compiled student work and designed a website framework for the publication to use for years to come.
Kylie is the project manager for this publication. She is a DTC major with a minor in Computer Science. She currently works in Student Government and at the campus radio station. In her free time she loves painting, needlework, and watching Pride and Prejudice (2005).
Devon Baxter is a Web Developer for this site. Outside the Journal he is a DTC Major, Social Media Marketer and IT Technician at WSU Vancouver.
Kevin is a junior at Washington State University. He majors in Digital Technology & Culture and specializes in graphic design. He enjoys making music, creating posters, and playing basketball. His role in this project was being the design lead, coordinating the website’s identity by working with both the design and programming teams.
My name is Hanh Ta. I am the multimedia designer. My primary job was to design the logo, help my teammates with color coordination, and making the poster design. I am a current student at WSU Vancouver studying multimedia design and illustration.
Faafetai is currently a WSU Vancouver student majoring in Digital Technology & Culture with a Fine Arts minor. Her role in the development of this project was communications, social media, and a supporting role in multimedia design.
Jessica is a senior at Washington State University. Her major is Digital Technology & Culture and specializes in front-end web development. She loves to travel to different states via roadtripping. Her favorite roadtrip was to the Grand Canyon. One day she hopes work and travel full time in an RV with her husband and two children. Until then, mini-vacay is where it's at.
