Well, board games are no longer allowed to be played in this house. Apparently, fighting over who is cheating is too much for my mother.
Today marks the first official day of our 'Stay Home, Stay Healthy' order. It is so odd that today is the first day, yet we were put on distance learning for school and asked to stay home a few weeks ago. I heard that the beaches were packed this past weekend, so that could be a reason why it is actually an order now.
It has now been one week since the last time we went to the grocery store. My sister has now put signs up on our pantry trying to tell everyone that it is now closed.
Today, a field hospital at Century Link Field was announced. Now, some patients who do not have COVID-19 will be able to be treated here to allow the hospitals to focus on those with the virus.
Today we cleaned the garage. We now have a trunk full of donations but no place to drop them off at, as donation places are asking people to keep their donations at home until this is all over.
Not much has really happened since yesterday. The field hospital is still being set up and that is most of what people are talking about.
Didn't do much today. It feels as though we have been doing nothing for weeks. I don't know how much more I can take of this!
Today, Governor Inslee stated that it is highly probable that the 2 week 'Stay Home, Stay Healthy' order is likely to be extended. I honestly don't know what I am going to do if that happens. I am starting to go a bit stir crazy being home all day.
I didn't do much today besides attend virtual classes and do homework. My paint by the numbers was delivered today, so I guess we will see how long that takes to complete.
Governor Inslee tweeted out "Turns out @lizzo is 100% that generous to Washington's health care workers. We appreciate you. #WeGotThisWA"..This is in response to Lizzo sending lunches to the University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake Emergency Department. Although it may not seem like much news, it definitely put a smile on my face!
Today, we tried to play scrabble...We ended with two people upset over the rules and no real winner. Other than that, I just worked on homework and watched some television.
There have been 195 confirmed deaths in Washington thus far, with almost 5 thousand cases in the state now. Other than that, there isn't much news on the virus.
Today, we prank phone called my mothers friend. It was awesome. We pretended that my mother had been arrested. We then tried it on my aunt, however, that did not go over well and she will not answer our calls.
In other news, Washington's State Attorney sent out "cease and desist" letters to 5 businesses in Washington due to them price gouging masks, hand sanitizer, and similar items, and then selling it on Amazon.Honestly I don't understand why in a time of need, people turn around and try to harm others. What we need right now is for everyone to support and raise each other up.
