Diseases of the Horse

Diseases of the Horse describes a series of illustrated poems by Jason Nelson that juxtapose images of horse anatomy with words curated from the description of certain equine ilnesses. The words themselves are arranged so as to provide a halting, deliberate disruption of what might otherwise be a straightforward diagnosis, exchanging pathology for a reflection on the nature of embodied being.
