After we see Cleopatra's perspective, the story moves to her "what if" of back when she was younger. Her father recently passed, and her love proposes to her that day. In reality she told him "no" but she likes to imagine how different it could be if only she had followed him out of the house and left the town. "Cause if we don’t leave this town We might never make it out" Unfortunately, the young woman doesn't live her imaginary fulfilled life with him, she instead keeps pressing forward, deciding that that is the path she must take.
