This is the first class that I made for DTC 335. The goal of the is site was to learn and work with basic Html5 and Css3 It is about Wallace Stevens poem called Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird. The sites color scheme is teal, white, and black.
This is another site that I did for DTC 335, the goal of this site is to work with css grid. It is a cheese cake recipe. It breaks down the required ingredients and cooking process. The color scheme is blues, browns, and tans.
This is a site that I did for DTC 335. , the goal of this site is to work with narrative and create a sense of linear narration. This sitei is done using parallax site which creates the illusion that the images are being passed over by blocks of text. The story is about a little tree nymph that was born from an acorn.
This is a self portrait that I created using Illustrator for my DTC 201 class. I traced this image from a photo of myself although this is not an exact recreation.
This is an wedding invitation that I made for my brothers wedding. This was the first piece that I deisgned and then I made the save the date. My sister-in-law wanted something that was russstic, with a archway, and greens, white, and yellow accents. The image is an arch with leaves and flowers around it..
This is the save that was sent out before the wedding invitation. IT was designed from the elements used to create the wedding invitation so that the two pieces had cohesion. There is white text and diasies with leaves that match the wedding invitation.
This is a poster that I made using Illustrato for a class project. The goal of the assignment was to create a poster about a real event. I choose to do my poster on the Winthroop is a hot air balloon festival in WA.
I created this piece from the inspiration of Japanese and water color tattoos . I liked the idea of tieing a spirt animal to something permanent like a tattoo. I choose a snake because I thought it would be a really interesting shape and peach blossoms because that is what my Vietnamse name means.
This is a logo that I made for a school project. I reallu liked the logo so I decided to design the full body. Kittsune means nine tailed fox in Japanese, and in Japanese culture they have masks of similar style that I found interesting.
This part of the site is still being worked on, but here is the link to my vimeo https://vimeo.com/user105800377
