Abstract Painting Exhibition VII

This exhibition was for the WSU Pullman intermediate painting class of Spring 2025.
The theme of this exhibition was abstraction. All students of Joe Hedges intermediate painting class were tasked to make their own paintings, using inspiration from well-known abstract artists of the past.
My abstract painting was based around mixtures of vibrant colors with shapes, patterns and colors. I wanted my subject to be “bottle caps and skulls”, so my piece contains an acrylic and oil paint mix painting of a coyote skull, as well as physical bottle caps attached onto and on the sides of the canvas.
This exhibition was held in the Locker Gallery of the Department of Arts building as WSU Pullman from March 18th to March 26th of 2025.
