Blackbird

Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird is a poem by Wallace Stevens, and made for a great source to make my first ever web design project around. This project was my first attempt at designing with HTML and CSS. I tried to make use of a triad color scheme using yellow pink and cyan tones. I was trying to emulate a similar color scheme I've used in character designing concept art, but in retrospect I had a difficult time juggling between the different options. If I had more specifically designed with a dominant color in mind I feel this would have been rectified.

"Tribunal" Info Card

Tribunal was a web design project I made to explain some of the lore aspects of Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. I tried to emulate the color scheme present on the game box, main menu, while still keeping everything as readable as possible. This is one of my absolute favorite games, so being able to incorporate something I'm passionate about into web design was very motivating.

"Fire and Steel" Recipe Project

The recipe project was a test of implementing responsive design elements within a site for usability. In the site there is a grid full of "ingredients" that will change layout depending on the width of the window the site is viewed through. This project I also put more focus into working with typography and color scheme. I wanted to use the color elements of my source imagery to make a more pleasant aesthetic throughout the site.

"Spritefire" Narrative Project

SpriteFire is an ongoing worldbuilding project that I started, in collaboration with my close friend Autumn Moore, with the intention of using it for Dungeons and Dragons. I've been working on it for several years now, and have watched as its grown from a single secluded setting to a full world featuring many factions, cultures, and lands. Now it is my hope to develop the setting into a video game, so that it may provide an immersive and interactive experience for players.

This site was an exercise in organization, navigation, and collaboration with artificial intelligence. The imagery used on this site was all made by Midjourney, and while a few of the results I'm very happy with, some of the other ones leave me wanting more refinement, but confused on how exactly I can communicate that desired refinement to Midjourney.
