Course Overview

This website hosts content and materials for John Barber's DTC 356 course at Washington State University Vancouver. While it primarily supports enrolled students, it can also serve as an open resource for anyone interested in learning about digital information structures— there's plenty to discover and learn from along the way!

DTC 356 Information Structures focuses on organizing and interacting with digital information. Students examine organization theory, information architecture, search engine optimization, and search techniques for digital environments and interfaces. They leave the course with knowledge of creating, sharing, and interacting with digital information in different contexts, while also having the opportunity to collaborate with others.
