The Electronic Literature Lab
Created in Adobe Illustrator
This is an original re-creation of the back wall inside WSU Vancouver's Electronic Literature Lab. I took a reference photo of the back wall and created the graphic from that photo. My work is currently featured on the Electronic Literature Lab website.
Archiving Electronic Literature Infographic
Created in Adobe Illustrator
I created this infographic to mirror the stye of the Creative Media and Digital Culture Program website. This graphic is full of information yet still appears pleasing to the eye at multiple distances. My favorite part about this graphic is that it pairs well with the original website design while still being unique.
Heroes and Messages: An Interactive Fiction Adventure
Created using Twine 2.0 "Harlow"
For this project I decided to expand my understanding of multi-media authoring, game design, and electronic literature through the creation of an interactive fiction adventure. I chose to create in Twine because the free software is designed to be user-friendly and easy to use with a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. The game's format plays with the idea of non-linear storytelling and requires users to visit multiple story lines in order to successfully complete the game. To start your adventure click here.
30 Second Video Mash-Up
Created in Adobe Premiere Pro
For this project I was tasked with creating a 30 second video and audio mash-up using Adobe Premiere Pro. I sourced content that was in the public domain or was licensed with a creative commons license. My goal for this project was to give viewers the impression that they were on a unique journey through Grand Canyon National Park.
