My Furry Family

Mojo

also known as Special Boy, Baby Boy and Little Wiener

Mojo is 3 years old and I consider him to be my adopted son. We brought him home as a rescue kitten and he has a massive personality. He is playful and wild, always finding micheif around the house. He loves food, being on the counter when he shouldn't and trying to trip people down stairs. He also is very talkative and will have "conversations" with us.

While my cats have always been special, Mojo takes the cake for being the specialist of them all. He has issues with depth perception and struggles to drink out of his water dish. He puts his front feet in the water and his chest is always dripping wet. To top it off, he is scared of most everything and only feels safe outside when he is on a leash

He is also impossible to train. He doesn't respond to his name anymore than he would any word or loud sound. The only trick he knows is "turn", and for him to do that trick, it has to be the morning and my mom has to circle a food dish above his head (it's less of a trick and more of a feeding routine).

Pebbles

also known as Baby Kitty

Pebbles is around 12 years old. We rescued her from a litter of strays in our neighborhood. She has always been more shy and reserved, but as she has grown older, she has become very dependent on us. She is perfectly happy seeking out the most inconveinent lap and settling down for a couple hours.

Despite becoming a bit of a couch potato, Pebbles has a major attitude. She is a grumpy grouch and will meow at you if you enter her personal space. But she will also become upset if you stop petting her, or don't give her attention that she wants. Its a complicated balance, but we still love her.
