How Playing Cards Are Made
- There are several steps involved in making playing cards.
First, printing plates are made by taking photos
of the artwork that will be on the cards.
- Next, the prints are mounted to a machine and ink is applied.
- After that, card-stock is spooled out and sent to the rollers
and get both of their sides printed with the given image.
- Finally, the cards are cut and then sorted into decks of
52 playing cards along with 2 joker cards.
