Hi, I'm Mayte!

Hello! Welcome to my portfolio! I'm Mayte, a WSUV student currently majoring in DTC (Digital Technology & Culture). During my freshman year of high school, I discovered a passion for photography. At first, I only joined the class as an elective and didn’t think much of it. But over the months, I learned so much. One of my biggest inspirations was my high school photography teacher, who helped me improve my skills and showed me different ways to approach photography. I gained new perspectives, explored different equipment like steel wool, color powder, and digital cameras, and even worked in a darkroom to develop film.

I’m continuing to grow as a photographer and hope to one day start my own business. There’s still so much more to learn. Feel free to check out my gallery photos. Thank you!
