This is a story from the depression era. My great uncle on my mother’s side was a just getting into high school in a small northern mid-west town in Wisconsin. This is his tale that he wrote years ago before his death. He gives us first hand insight as to what it means to live in that era. What his daily activities were like and the day to day struggles he and his family endured. This is read by my mother for the first time.
