About Madiera Vath

Raised locally in the Portland-Metro area, I am a Cambodain-American with a major in Digital Technology and Culture Major provided by the Creative Media and Digital Culture (CMDC) program at Washington State University Vancouver. I had been worked hard during my time in college to make myself known as a videographer in hopes of one day, be given the opportunity to make movies. I did most of my videography work during the pandemic, so I am adaptable to both working online and face-to-face.

Certifications and Honors

In the past, I have recieved certifications such as the Google Ads Certification and Hootsuite Certification under my belt. Because of these certifications, I am proficient in social media and also have knowledge of SEO. Additionally, I was on the Washington State University Presidential Honor Roll for four consecutive years.

Years of Experience

I began my journey of working with the CMDC Program and my degree in Digital Technology and Culture in 2018 and graduated in 2022. What comes with being in this major is experience with working under pressure, committing to tight deadlines, and knowledge of many programs such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder, Canva, Slack, and Basecamp just to name a few.

Successful Exhibitions

From the Annual Student Showcases put on by the Fine Arts department at Washington State University Vancouver and to two art installations on that same campus, I am also able to create my art traditionally. Though I am currently trying to dive into illustrations digitally which can be seen on my Instagram.
