"7" | A Short Film

The COVID-19 pandemic changed everyone's lives and forced them to remain home, seprated from friends, family- I created this piece to show how the human mind reacts to challenges and how resilent we truely are. All artwork is mine.

The Process of Completing Each Drawning in Video

First step: Sketching!
I want to have the main skeleton and the base to build upon.

Second step: going over the sketch with color.
I used a chalky brush in procreate to create a very textured, grainy effect.

Third step: adding texture and detail.
I used clipping maks to get the textures I wanted for hair and clothing.
Details are added such as eyes, blush, the wine glasses.

Final Step: adding finishing touches.
Backgrounds and foreground are added, along with their textures.

"Warmth"

Challenged to create a strong narrative script in three pages. I wanted to use words to create impact while the setting, netural and bright, would soften the edges. Ultimately showing that character growth isn't always absolute, and can be something that exists beyond the pages in the viewers imaginations.
