About Statement

This website project was developed as part of an assignment to design a cohesive, responsive, and engaging online experience around a creative concept of choice. I chose to center the project around the band Glass Animals and their progression as artists through their albums. A big challenge was to get the message and feel of their music into a website. I chose to make this an ‘experience’ website rather than purely informative because if I was able to get the viewer to understand the band’s aesthetic and vibe the information would be a lot more valuable to them. I used AI, specifically ChatGPT to help me with the CSS animations and to write the JavaScript for the pages.
