Why Fashion?
Raphael has always liked the idea of creating; the idea that his art will be displayed on the runwa and people can choose wear it as a reflection of themselves has always enticed Raphael.
As Dontatella Versace once said, "Fashion is a weapon that you can use when you need it."
Everytime people get dressed, they can channel different people/emotions. People can derive inspiration from multiple sources and mesh them together into a style that feels all their own, or something completely offkilter for that experimental approach that seems to be so drowned out lately.
Fashion has allowed Raphael to regain that confidence that he had lost in the creative realm, it is something that he exceeds at, and others have found to be his strong point. He's reveled in this newfound appreciation of art in a wearable form.
