Inspiration

During his art history courses at his local community college, he found himself delving back into time periods that ranged from the Neanderthals of millenia past, to the Rococo period; one in which things were grand, beautiful, and delicate. Through the knowledge of the cultural context behind the master works of many before him, he came to find inspiration from the past. Relatively speaking, he also gathers inspiration from modern cultural context, music, and the various stimuli present in his everyday life. Inspiration is fleeting and fickle, and Raphael embraces this and will work with any kind of idea that sparks his interest; there is no idea too abstract or strange to attempt to dissect and reinterpret.
