You continue along your path until you reach a fork in the dungeon's halls.
Sitting against the wall in front of you is a broken scepter. It reminds you of the failed heist that landed you here in the first place. You look down the hall and witness small, glowing particles dancing in the air. The hallway also carries a peculiar sheen.
Turning the other way, you glance around the corner and see large gears on the wall. You look up to see the bottom of a large wooden door contained in the ceiling. It appears this mechanism was used by the guards to seal off the passage ahead.
