North County Community Food Bank is open to shopping twice weekly for clients in zip codes 98601, 98604, 98606, 98622, and 98675. We have a regular supply of fresh food including:

  • Local produce
  • Fresh, packaged meats
  • Grains and cereals
  • Bakery items
  • Canned seafood and meat
  • Canned vegetables and beans
  • Shelf stable milk
  • Eggs
  • Fresh cheese and dairy

In addition, we hold an array of courses designed to build essential life skills and promote healthy, confidant families. Some of these include:

  • Healthy cooking
  • Celebrity Chef and Kids in the Kitchen
  • Living with diabetes
  • Job search and interviewing
  • And much more.

We can provide clients with referrals and information for services such as:

  • Utilities assistance
  • Mental, domestic abuse, drug/alcohol counseling
  • Low income housing
  • Housing repairs/weatherization
  • Senior services
  • Veteran's assistance
  • Health/dental care
  • Legals services
  • Coordination with other food banks in the area
  • Conflict management classes
  • Basic life skills classes

Along with these service, we supply:

  • USDA commodities
  • A limited supply of pet food
  • Birthday cake packages with egg vouchers
  • A book exchange
  • And we always have great recipes to try
