National Movement Creates Local Volunteer Opportunities
Now in its 25th year, Make a Difference Day brings together volunteers from across the country within their local community for one of the largest nationwide days of service. On Saturday October 28th citizens will once again come together in our local parks, trails, and neighborhoods to work hand-in-glove on projects such as trail improvements, litter pickup, ivy and cigarette butt cleanup.
Find the opportunity that’s right for you, your club, or family:
• Raymond E. Shaffer Park Trail Building project
• Clark County Food Bank at Heritage Farm–Field Clean Up
• The Butt Stops Here
• Volunteer Wood Working Event
• Uptown Village Cleanup and Ryan Woods Grassroots Volunteer Award
• Battle Ground StreamTeam event with live music, free food, and giveaways!

And, once you’re done with all this hard work, visit the 1st annual BOOVILLE at Luepke Community Center for some fun, indoor family activities.
