Remembering and Supporting our Veterans

DSC_1157In 2015, after 6 years of fundraising and 9 months of construction, the Battle Ground Veterans Memorial was dedicated on Veterans Day. Over 400 community members attended the ceremony, designed to honor and recognize veterans and active military who have served, fought and died for the freedom we enjoy today.

The Battle Ground Veterans Memorial was fully funded and constructed by donations, evidence of the community’s steadfast commitment to this project. Over a quarter of a million dollars in products and services were donated by 34 local contractors and vendors to make this project a reality.

New engraved commemorative bricks are added annual to the Memorial. If you would like to purchase a brick in honor of a veteran click here for online or printable forms.  For additional photos and a complete story on the Battle Ground memorial click here.
