A Passion for Excellence Says it all About our TRIBUTARY Award Winner.

“Laura is highly motivated and commits to her work with the energy and professionalism that can only be achieved through her seemingly endless passion for excellence,” noted Bill Bjerke, former Clark County Parks and Lands Division Manager, as he nominated Laura Hoggatt for the Florence B. Wager Tributary award.

Since joining the Clark County Parks team in 2017, Laura has tackled every challenge that has come her way. In addition to her Administrative Assistant duties, she is instrumental in overseeing elements of the parks fee program, coordinating monthly Park Advisory Board meetings, providing outreach and coordination for the Lewis & Clark Trail project, helping with grant administrative support and assisting the Parks Manager with a multitude of daily needs.

“Laura is always raising the bar by surpassing our ever increasing expectations. Whether the project is large or small, Laura throws herself into it with an abundance of enthusiasm and strong work ethic. She brings a vast wealth of experience and talent to the team and Parks Advisory Board,” said Bill.

Providing a top-level of customer service, Laura makes sure that all customers’ needs are addressed. With a caring soul, she continually goes out of her way to help others, programs and teams work smoothly. “With a high level of energy, knowledge, and talent, Laura is the glue that holds us together, and we simply couldn’t go on successfully without her.”
