SwingMore 24! is almost here!

Just like our parks and iconic PNW green spaces, GiveMore 24! brings us together to share causes we’re passionate about. Causes that make us smile.

This year, we have an ambitious goal of raising $12,000. Why? Because our municipalities have a growing list of needs and are asking for support to fund camps and programs for at-risk youth, replace aging play structures, and to improve our parks and trail systems, just to name a few.

Our goal is large, but we know it’s possible with your help. As you think about your child’s favorite park, or the peaceful trail you run, please consider a donationWhile the joy and smiles our green spaces create are free, maintaining the swing sets and our forested trails are not. Neither are the camps that provide structure and a meal for at-risk youth. And, contrary to popular belief, the Parks Foundation does not receive tax revenue. We annually award and distribute numerous key grants to support community offerings thanks to the generosity of our members, donors, partners, and volunteers.

Join us in Esther Short Park, Thursday, September 19th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in support of in parks, trails, and recreational programs in Ridgefield, Washougal, Camas, Vancouver, Yacolt, Battle Ground and Clark County. If you can’t join us in person, follow us online and share our GiveMore 24! link. , follow us on Facebook for a schedule of events.

Thank you for your support.
