Raspberry Fields Neighborhood Park is located in the Felida area. Surrounded by densely populated neighborhoods, there are an estimated 5,744 kids under the age of 15 that have access to this park. The play areas of Raspberry Fields are in need of new equipment that is accessible to all ages and all abilities. Currently, there are no slides or swings which are generally considered favorite play pieces among children. New play structures will allow all children to use the structures and provide opportunities for kids to improve motor skills, balance, and social interaction. This grant will update the play equipment with pieces that are suitable for 2-5 year olds and install more traditional pieces that invite play and interaction among children.
