Alienum phaedrum torquatos nec eu, vis detraxit periculis ex, nihil expetendis in mei. Mei an pericula euripidis, hinc partem.

Why the Parks Foundation:

I serve on the Parks Foundation Board because I am so grateful for the impact that parks and recreational opportunities in our community have had on my family. Our 32-year-old daughter, Jessica, has a handicapped called Angelman syndrome. She has friends and activities to participate in because of the amazing Vancouver Parks and Recreation department. My oldest daughter, Alyssa, received a Division I volleyball scholarship in part because she got to play hours of open gym volleyball at the Marshall Center, mostly against the men’s teams! My father lived 88 wonderful years in spite of a heart problem. I attribute his longevity to the many walks he took on the Salmon Creek Greenway Trail. I have so many memories of family picnics, soccer games, softball games and playing with grandchildren at the playground, truly irreplaceable moments. I love Fairgrounds Park. The view and setting are beautiful. Swinging on the swings with my granddaughters make for a perfect day.
