I have always been an “outdoors” person, spending time in parks with my family has been one of my favorite ways to enjoy living in the northwest. Parks and recreation opportunities are so important to the vitality of our community as well as the people and businesses that call our area home. However, our local governmental agencies cannot fully fund all of the deserving programs and park improvements we need. It is up to us as a foundation and a community to help fill those gaps.
