I was born back in June of 1998 in Arkansas. I was only two when we moved to the fantastic country of Germany, where I lived there for six years. In 2007 we moved to Texas for 11 months, then in 2008 we moved to Washington, in 2012 we moved to Alaska, then in 2014 we moved to Colorado, and in 2016 I moved back here on my own. My life has been full of countless incredible experiences, whether it be taking a trip to Austria and staying in a spider filled hotel, walking to the local Italian restaurant in Poppenhausen, Germany on the weekends, 4-wheeling through Alaskan forests, etc. These experiences have shaped who I am and shaped my interests. I love learning about all different types of cultures, especially European culture. I've grown a huge love of world history as well as following and talking about international politics. I'm hoping one day to go back to Europe, my goal would be to create a small movie of my experiences out there.
My love of audio has come from many places, starting with games like Dead Space and Destiny. I remember I would listen to the Dead Space sound files for hours, I'd go to YouTube and listen to the soundtrack and various sound effects. I also remember watching a video where someone created there own sound effects and combined it with the Dead Space sound effects. What I loved was how someone could take pots and pans and create terrifying sound effects with them, it really got me into the idea of working with sound. Games like Destiny drew me in with the music. In Destiny, I remember I would obsess over the smallest sound details. I'd stand somewhere in the middle of nowhere listening to the crackiling noise of a distant echo of a gunshot, or I'd listen to the various sound effects of the Vex. Being able to work with sound is an incredible amount of fun, albeit quite challenging.
I take my work very seriously. I always strive to make content that is of high quality and I always push myself to do better when I do not perform to my standards. I always ensure that my work is delivered on time, late work to me is unacceptable and also unprofessional. I am always ready and willing to work in groups if I need to; I always make sure I contribute to the group and always make sure to complete the work I am responsible for. I always give 110% into my work and don't stop working on any given project or paper until the task is complete. I am always very open to feedback from outside sources as I view an outside perspective as an essential element to success.
