Friedreich's ataxia (FA for short) is a devastating hereditary disease that slowly takes away the patient's mobility. I can tell you about the organization that is fundraising resources for the disease to be slowed, stopped, or possibly reversed. FARA (Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance) is the best organization to ensure hope that the best overall outcome will happen; a cure so no one has to deal with this horrible disease.
