About this Site
The purpose of this site is to act as a base for all the works that will be done this semester in my DTC 375 class. It will also hold a blog page that has reading reactions on it as well as a page about the medias that interest me most.
A Little About Me
Hi, my name is Hailey and this is my third semester at Washington State University Vancouver. I’m majoring in the Digital Technology and Culture program, commonly referred to as DTC for short, and love using all kinds of media, digital or physical. I have loved doing art all my life so it was clear once I was in high school that I wanted to have a career in the art industry which is why the DTC program which also has another name as the Creative Media and Digital Culture program, was what I wanted to major in when I started college. I originally never wanted to pursue higher education since the first required twelve years were hard enough, however after coming to terms with societal structure it was apparent that was the path I wanted to walk. Along with working in various digital spaces, I have done many different physical crafts like ceramics, drawing, and painting. This doesn’t include the partial crocheting technique that is used when using Rainbow Loom bands or knitting and sewing I learned from my Grandma.
