Salutations, my name is Jaret Benson. I am a third year (as of 2024) WSU Vancouver student working on my Digital Technology and Culture (DTC) major. Character art and animation are my passion, and I aspire to create character concept art and 3d animation as a profession. I love both fantasy and sci fi stories, they create some of the coolest aesthetics and visuals, as well as some unique stories. Some of my favorite shows are Star Wars: the Clone Wars, The Owl House, and RWBY. My favorite movies are Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and Jurassic Park. I hope that one day I will grow in my animation abilities to be able to create amazing stories like these ones.
The purpose of this site is to serve as a location for DTC 375 content. This site will hold discussions to the readings in the classes. Discussions will be responses and thoughts on the readings as the form of blog posts. Along with discussions to readings, the site will host projects created for the class.
