Here you can find some of my work that I completed in DTC355 Multimedia Authoring. If you would like to view the full websites, each link is available above the sample images. Enjoy :)
For the Blackbird project, we took the poem "Blackbird" by Wallace Stevens and recreated it's visual to present the stanzas in a unique way using the grid method. Additonal information on the author is also provided at the bottom of the page where a link can be found that will take you to his page on Wikipedia.
Our recipe project was by far my favorite. I decided to go with a Pineapple Upside-Down Cake recipe to present in my website. In this project I had a deeper understanding of using grid in the css layout. I also chose this recipe because my family has often made this cake when I was younger and it reminds me of the time when we would visit my grandmother on holidays. It was very fun making this project and sharing it with my peers.
In my narrative project I told the story of when I took a trip to Okinawa Japan with my mom in 2015. My favorite and most memorable experience I had ever had! It was very fun and I was very excited to show my journey in this project. Here I used skrollr for the first time, which took some getting used to, but it was a "learn as I go along" kind of experience. I definitely learned a lot with this project and I am hopeful in approaching skrollr again in the future.
