Leave your home now if you are around guns, knives, pills, or anything that you would hurt yourself with. Find a safe place to calm down. Get a friend who cares to remove these dangers from your home.
Be aware that getting drunk and high can make your condition worse.
Distract yourself from suicidal thoughts with activities. Do various things like jogging, walking, swimming, biking, take a nap, take a hot shower, watch an uplifting movie, read a book, clean, go shopping, go to the park, play with pets, volunteer, or anything that makes you feel good.
