My photography class gained access to the post-hospital in Downtown, Vancouver, WA. I wanted to play with dramatic lighting and posing for this series and capture the run down and spooky atmosphere of the hospital.
This photoshoot was focused on playing with different lighting configurations. I also wanted to experiment with how glitter would interact with light. This photoshoot also utilized leading lines and chiaroscuro.
I took this photo on a hike down the Pacific Crest Trail off of the Bonneville Dam Trailhead. This section of the trail is at the Greenleaf Overlook. My intent was to play with light, contrast, highlights, and shadows.
For this photo, my intention was to play with leading lines and framing. I used a 50mm lens to get the desired deep focus effect. I used photoshop to enhance the colors and lead to a warm and inviting mood.
