The Iowa Review Web

The Iowa Review Web (TIR-W), an online journal published by the prestigious The Iowa Review magazine and edited by Thom Swiss, featured works of electronic literature beginning 1999. It established a reputation for a "commitment to new writing, encouraging the investigation of text and hypertext in theory and practice at their deepest levels" ("About"). The collection contains the 92 works published in its 12 volumes. The journal stopped operations in mid-2010s.

In summer of 2016, the local files for all of the works in The Iowa Review Web came from Lynne Nugent at The Iowa Review to the Electronic Literature Lab. The files were held in the ELO Repository at the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab, and later moved to the ELO server in 2019.
