Fun Facts
- I currently live in Portland, Oregon, and have lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life.
- I currently attend Washington State University - Vancouver, where I am pursuing my B.S. in Data Analytics with a specialization in data visualization.
- I am an avid sports fan and grew up playing soccer, as well as some stints in karate and dance. I am interested in getting involved in the sports analytics field, particularly for the NBA or Formula 1.
Production Statement
This website was created as part of DTC 355 to showcase my work in this and many other courses. I wanted to use a dark blue color scheme since it is my favorite color and a good representation of who I am: calm, collected, and reliable. My creative freedom for this project was greater since I was not a DTC major, but I still wanted to create a portfolio for my work in the hopes that I might use it someday. My specialization in data visualization requires knowledge of effective communication strategies in both media and written work, so I wanted to use this portfolio as an opportunity to showcase what I have learned. It also gave me a platform to showcase other coding and analytics projects.
