Ardereal is a kingdom in the sky

It gets its name from the past ancestral king of the royal family who once ruled and governed the kingdom since the very beginning.

Living in such high air density allows people to adapt stronger living abilities which further enhance the magicians who choose to dwell in the kingdom of Ardereal.

The castle and kingdom is held up by magic. Spells are used and set in place for giant windmills implanted into the grounds of the kingdom to help make everything afloat. Without the help of magic, it would inevitably drop into the ground.

There are guards who wield swords and shields around the kingdom. It may be an ordinary asset for your imaginative kingdom, however their weapons withhold the abilities to deflect magic abilities and armor capable of undergoing heavy blows of the elements that may be thrown at them. They are the true defenders against a world where magic exist.

The kingdom of Ardereal, much similar to the roles of the royal family, strive to learn the elements of magic for the greater good. Helping alongside natures disasters and fighting against the users of the dark arts.
