Before Facebook and Twitter were seen as viable platforms for promoting businesses and organizations, the CMDC faculty led workshops for local companies how to harness social media for communication and marketing and taught its students how to master these technologies. Now we are among the leaders in the field, and our DTC graduates are able to land jobs in digital marketing, public relations, and promotions. Our focus on search engine optimization (SEO) provides additional value to the DTC degree, and because all of our majors know how to work with the web, coding by hand or with systems like Word Press, they are great demand in the region.
