A. J. Patrick Liszkiewicz

A. J. Patrick Liszkiewicz is a media artist and activist from Buffalo, NY. He is a member of the award-winning game design collective RUST, LTD., and an assistant editor at the online journal Anti-. His work has recently appeared in Diagram, Glitch, Hobart, Kotaku, Otoliths, and Word for/Word, and selections from his chapbook ALPHABET MAN (Slack Buddha Press, 2010) will appear in the anthology, THE &NOW AWARDS 2: THE BEST INNOVATIVE WRITING. He received an M.F.A. in Media Arts Production from SUNY Buffalo, and is currently a Provost’s Fellow in the iMAP PhD program at the University of Southern California.

AFEELD is a collection of playable intermedia and concrete art compositions that exist in the gap between poetry and videogames. These compositions take as their subject the creative, playful role of the individual in conceptualizing and defining space.
