New Job

The digital media jobs were sparse in the last Mac’s List, but here are two that just came across my desk.  A special thanks to DTC major, Marzee Dyer, and DTC alum Spring Atkinson who sent them to me!

1.  Late Night Library has an intern position available. It requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per month. Please read the description below and feel free to forward the message. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for nonprofit arts experience or anyone who possesses the desired skills and is passionate about community and books!

Late Night Library is seeking a digital intern to assist with its Late Night Conversation series. The individual would work directly with Portland director, Paul Martone, and make approximately 2-3 posts per month on Late Night Library’s website. Duties include uploading and posting mp3 files to a podcast hosting platform, uploading and posting supplied images and text to Tumblr, and testing finished posts to make sure all links are working, podcast plays, etc.  The individual should have experience working with Tumblr and web implementation/design, as well as attention to detail, proofreading, and commitment to a professional finished product. The ideal candidate has or has had their own Tumblr blog. The position requires 10-15 hours per month. Personal internet access and digital photo resizing software is essential.
