For this release, a home-built "bottle jack" press is used to print the cover artwork.

After the cover artwork was designed, a digital file was sent off to Boxcar Press, a company that makes custom letterpress plates.

The plates are affixed to the platen, and test prints are made to set registration points.

The plates are inked with special ink using a brayer. Care must be taken to not get ink on anything except the plates.

The platen upon which the plates are affixed is slid into the press. The cover is placed into the press.

The cover is pressed.
