The first flame is fading and Prince Lothric has decided to not re-link it and bring another age of fire, instead an age of dark is approaching. Past rulers have been resurrected to link it once more, their combined power would be strong enough to re kindle the flame, however none of these past rulers want to link the flame again either.
The Ashen One, one of many unkindled who tried to link the fire in the past but failed, has also been resurrected for the potential that they might link the fire. Their quest is to return the cinders of four past lords to their thrones and use their strength the link the first flame. Upon doing so, they are brought to the kiln of the first flame, where they fight the Soul of Cinder and obtain the power to link the flame.
For this narrative project I decided to make a multipage website based on the story of Dark Souls 3. It's my favorite game in a series I've got a lot of enjoyment out of, and I think I have a good understanding of its very complicated story that takes some piecing together to understand. Creating the nav bar was my biggest struggle, specifically in getting the images to align nicely with the text. The aside box also gave me some trouble, the pictures didn't quite want to stay within the borders or resize well.
