Yhorm, the Giant, was the ruler of the profaned capital. A descendant of an ancient conqueror, he was asked to lead the people once subjugated, serving as their blade and shield. The people expressed fear and doubt of him linking the flame. To appease them, Yhorm gifted them a sword that had the power to fell a giant, and an identical one to his dear friend Siegward, to slay him should he become undead. Some time after Yhorm became a lord of cinder, the profaned capital was consumed by fire, incinerating the people of the city. This event helps explain why Yhorm refuses to relink the fire, all it did was bring him pain and suffering.
Siegward occompanies the Ashen One in their fight with Yhorm, weilding the sword gifted to him. He his here to uphold his promise to his old friend. Yhorm wields a two handed machete and fights ferociously. Long ago he also used a greatshield, but upon failing to protect someone dear to him, he cast it aside.
