What is This Project?
This project was created in order to facilitate the teaching and learning of a specific subject—usability design vs. visual design—through an interactive multimedia experience. The project demonstrates what I have learned from this semester as well as what I have gone on to discover through additional research and exploration. The information is all brought together to become one reference for future students as a multimedia guide with additional resources and an opportunity to practice hands-on learning.
How to Use This Guide Effectively
In order to use this guide effectively, please make sure to read and listen to the content within the provided links, so as to gain a more thorough understanding of each sub-topic. Each page leads to another, so that the information builds upon itself in a linear fashion, but if you wish to go back, you can use the menu at the top right corner of each screen. The quiz and workshop at the end of the guide should be completed for your benefit, as hands-on experience is the best way to practice and reinforce what you have learned.
