I love your inky art style, especially how you draw all the mushrooms and overgrowth! I also liked your use of gutters in this story, especially on the second page with the fruit shown untouched then shown with what looks like a bite mark in it. It gives enough for the audience to conclude the fruit was bitten without having to show it being bitten. I also liked the clear passage of time between those two panels, with the second being darker and the moon risen in the background.
I like the mystery in the comic–we never see why the protagonist was running, nor are we shown exactly how they die. It left me curious and interested, I reread it several times. The story of the person seems to mirror the story of the fruit. I wonder if the person bit the fruit and it poisoned them?
