On our first full day in Paris we got up early and went to Notre Dame, its gothic design and incredible detail is something truly breath taking. When the fire of Notre Dame happened in April of 2019 it broke my heart that a part of this beautiful history had been damaged.
Afterword’s we walked down what we called "tourist trap lane" a street with multiple tourist shops that try to drop people in to buy souvenirs. They were very interesting to see. We also stopped for coffee and Macaroons.
In Paris we also experienced:
My first impression of Amsterdam was that every corner you turn it was a perfect picture moment, beautiful views that are breathtaking. The architecture, the canals along every street, bikes and fall leaves all around as fall settles upon us.
Everyone in Amsterdam were prose at riding bikes on the cobble stone roads along side cars. We did take a bike tour and it is not as easy at you might think. Drivers are not afraid to get a little close to bikers because they believe the bikers know what they are doing there, we did not always know what we were doing, haha.
The last full day in London, in Europe we decided to return back to the Barge house for one last great breakfast. We also went back to Westminster area and walked around with no real destination. Just enjoying our last day. We found a place to also have tea and ended up finding a Sunday market with venders and food trucks. It was one of the best little experiences we had on our trip. Not a busy tourist area but a small local place.
