Those who entered the Beast's Lair...
Most of our names may be forgotten, but our deeds will be remembered forever.
The world of Sphinsaria is only free from the Tyrant's Reign because of our bravery, and heroic steadfastness in the face of annihilation.
From the fiery Kilroy who tore the wicked asunder, to the light of Saint Scion, guiding our path, and hastening our step. Each of us came from vastly different lands, and times, yet banded together long enough to defeat the green god of savagery, the TyrantTyrant: the green dragon-god of the Chromatic Pantheon. He feigned his death, and made the world bow to his will. Now truly slain, he is simply a savage memory..
As the only one of our band left alive in our vigil over Sphinsaria, I have taken it upon myself to detail some of our exploits, for the preservation of the world's history. I, the Last One, do solemnly swear by the light of Agamnes, the PureAgamnes: the silver dragon-god of the Allopent. Oft represented by the moon, he is a symbol of honesty, foresight, and introspection., to tell only that which is the truth in the pages of these tales.
With that out of the way, a quick word to commemorate those who fought the good fight, and enabled our success. Their efforts were not in vain, and oft paved the way for us to progress, so, in no particular order, here are the names of some very helpful previous allies.
- Every one of the many kingdoms who fought valiantly, till the end,
- PeasantPeasant: a gnoll warrior we captured early on, somehow, he took nary a scratch during our confrontation with the Tyrant.,
- Arbiter Vyx,
- KaesandoralKaesandoral: one of the few remaining druids of the Trancendent Order, he has protected the knowledge they accrued for hundreds of years.,
- The Totenga Tribe,
- The Commanders of the Relic Hoarde,
- and Valek TornValek Torn: a dwarven paladin of Buzuma, the Righteous, the dragon-god of honor, resolve, and purging evil. Valek Torn was killed partway into our journey, gods rest his soul., who never witnessed the end of the journey.
