Legends of Sphinsaria

The Aasimar Divine Soul

Rarely is one blessed from birth, but so is the story of all AasimarAasimar: a being blessed with divine lineage. Oft considered signs of good favor with the gods, for those who bear Aasimar children.. Scion was immediately taken into the temples of the AllopentAllopent: translated, it means "metallic five", referring to the five metallic dragons that make up this benevolent pantheon., where he would begin his study of the divine word from a young age. As Scion grew to understand his connection with the divine, he began to suspect that he had a greater role to play in the universe, as a messianic figure.

When the Tyrant rampaged across Sphinsaria, Scion believed his time had come. He stood side-by-side with soldiers, to face the coming foe, but to no avail. His healing was not enough, and soon, he too felt the sting of steel. Much to our benefit, Arbiter VyxArbiter Vyx: the solemn watcher who revived us to end the Tyrant's reign. Soon, he says that another will take up the mantle of Arbiter, but he never says who will. chose to let his story continue on, to act as our moral guide, and battlefield healer.

When he crawled from the grave with us, he was a broken man. He had failed to live up to his percieved divinity, and was confused of his place, but after the Tyrant was slain, he became a man revived, in spirit and word. He may not have been a messiah, but he found much more peace in being a servant of the gods.

Arbiter Vyx tells me that after he succumbed to age in our vigil, his soul joined AurismaAurisma: the golden dragon-god of the Metallic Pantheon. This being of justice and good is revered by many civilizations as a shining symbol of order.'s light, and has become an angel, henceforth known as Saint Scion. Whatever you are now, friend, I hope to meet you there.

TokenI've glimpsed the angels on high, and they are surprisingly hard to study. Oftentimes, they are too abstract and angular for representation in two dimensions, but it seems Scion is alright with a form resembling what he was. Thanks for making it easy for me, buddy.
