The Warforged Paladin

Recently reactivated, by the efforts of the Commanders of the Relic HoardeRelic Hoarde: an army of android warriors, dedicated to slaying the Tyrant. They are tight-lipped about the secret of their origin, but boastful of their accomplishments., Sevin Desix, a Scaler paladin of Aurisma, the GlimmeringAurisma: the golden dragon-god of the Metallic Pantheon. This being of justice and good is revered by many civilizations as a shining symbol of order., had a new task: to accompany these so-called champions and perform reconnaissance into the Tyrant's Domain, for the Relic Hoarde. He then set off as one of the group's most powerful warriors and front-line defenders.

He was later given a Lesser BehirBehir: a type of serpent that seemingly defies the laws of physics. It has many arms across its cerulean, translucent body, and it floats freely above the ground. to serve as his mount, as the Relic Hoarde, with the information that Sevin Desix had gained, marched on the Tyrant's roost. In the pitched heat of the final battle, after having lost a limb to the claws, he called for his scanner to trigger the Conduction ProtocolConduction Protocol: a method, by which a group of warforged sacrifice themselves to conduct their power into one destructive bolt of lightning., to strike a dire blow to the Tyrant. His VultVult: translates to "will", it is the spark that powers the warforged, and is often referred to as their soul. was expended, but the damage was dealt.

He was posthumously granted the rank of Commander, and his body would remain a smoldering husk, frozen in the position of his sacrifice. It has since rusted, and faded to dust, though I expect he's still out there, keeping sentry over us, just like the many nights we made camp in enemy territory.

TokenThe Warforged reminded me of the soldiers that would wear masks to battle, if those soldiers had a lightning bolt for a soul. Yet, despite the chaotic nature of lightning, they were always very reserved, even hierarchical to a fault.
