The Kobold Barbarian
Kilroy was a surface-dwelling koboldKobold: a small, lizard-like humanoid, with a tail. Typically subterranean, and tribal, they are exceptionally crafty trappers., and a scavenger since birth. He would gather weapons and armor from battlefields, and this would bring him into contact with a cursed weapon.
He was haunted by a spirit, who spurred him to violence, to which Kilroy obliged. Soon he turned his stolen blade to the forces of the Tyrant, which led to a gruesome death. Through the intervention of Arbiter Vyx, he was brought back, like the rest of us, and he had another chance to --as he put it-- "Slice and Dice!"
He took to killing well, even after being dead for centuries, and soon he found an even better implement to do so: the Originator's BladeOriginator's Blade: a greatsword that belonged to the creator of Sphinsaria. Exceptionally sharp, and made for a single purpose: to divide life.. It was a match made in the heavens. He captured the destructive spirit so well, that the Totenga Tribe, worshippers of Rerag, the ImmolatorRerag: the red dragon-god of the Chromatic Pantheon. This wyrm is the largest of the Chromatics, and rests at the core of the world., venerated him, and followed him into battle against the Tyrant.
He hewed, and hacked his way, as our front scout and combatant, and soon, he would be the one to strike the final blow against the Tyrant. As the wyrm bit into his shoulder and left arm, he sank the blade into its neck, twisting it, until the spine and head were severed.
After the battle, he threw the blade from the top of Shaoghal BaethaShaoghal Baetha: the oldest living being, Shaoghal Baetha, is a massive tree. For its relatively young age, it is sentient, and capable of much..., never killing another soul for the rest of his days during our long vigil.
It's difficult now, to remember that ancient blade, yet I could remember clear as day the arc of blood it released from the Tyrant. What a paintbrush of justice it was!
